Experienced live-out General Manager required for the Slug & Lettuce in Croydon. Situated in the town centre of Croydon, close to East Croydon Railway Station, connecting with the Gatwick Express and Victoria line straight into central London, making it an ideal location for the post work drink before heading home. This is a 2 floor, contemporary Bar with a friendly, upbeat and lively vibe where people meet to eat and drink together, be that local or London business people, day time shoppers and local Residents; this is a business that is perfect for all.

The successful General Manager will be a sure-footed individual with a charismatic and dynamic personality. Someone who is able to drive sales through innovative marketing and developing reasons to visit, with a great opportunity in the pre-booked sales area. We are looking for someone who will be the visible face of the business and actively engages with their customers, delivering upbeat and sassy atmosphere management especially on the key trading days. As the General Manager you will have a passion for ensuring that the business consistently delivers superb, high quality customer service and outstanding operational excellence and standards which are essential if you are to compete in the busy hospitality market that the Slug and Lettuce operates in. It is essential that you are an inspirational Leader with a true belief in recruiting great people, training and coaching them to develop an exceptional team that has a passion for working in hospitality and delighting their Customers.

You will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including:  P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
