Recruitment & Training Manager - Job Summary

My client is looking for a site based Recruitment & Training Manager to oversee operations at this high volume operation based in Reading. As the Recruitment & Training Manager you will have experience of managing large numbers of temporary/casual staff, as well as a passion for training staff to high standards. You will be engaged within a sizable management team, and responsible for managing a direct team of HR orientated staff. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who is looking for an exciting new challenge, in a company that has a focus on training and development.

Recruitment & Training Manager - Role Responsibility

As the Recruitment & Training Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ultimately accountable for overseeing the casual and non salaried staff from an HR point of view
  • Recruit, train and staff all areas of the operation with up to 1200 team members
  • Motivate and manage other members of the people/staffing team
  • Financial management of the payroll aspect of the operation
  • Demonstrate a positive can do attitude  

Recruitment & Training Manager - The Ideal Candidate

As the Recruitment & Training Manager you will have the following attributes:

  • Ideally be from a Catering Temp Agency Background or similar (hotel, stadium, healthcare)
  • A people orientated personality with a passion for training
  • Experience of managing large numbers of temporary/casual staff
  • Experience of the hospitality/catering industry from a management perspective
  • Experience of managing large scale recruitment
  • Experience of managing payroll budgets
