Pastry Commis Chef Newbury Berkshire 18k plus Tips

An exciting opportunity for a Pastry Commis Chef to complete the team at this superb, award winning Hotel and restaurant.

The Head Chef has a good solid background in 3 Rosette establishments and has won numerous national awards. He is looking for an ambitious Commis chef to work alongside the pastry chef.

All Bread, Pastry and Plated dessert products including Ice Creams and sorbets etc are created in house, and during the summer months the hotel offers a growing range of afternoon cakes and biscuits for their popular afternoon Teas.

The Head chef is looking for somebody who has been trained to at least NVQ level 2 but is also creative and keen to be developed and learn more.

You will be given plenty of opportunity to create and develop your own ideas, while working closely with the Pastry Chef to develop existing menus which change on a daily and weekly basis.


Excellent Basic Salary upto £18k (Depending upon experience)
