Selling Support Manager Designate - Lakeside - 39 hrs
Our Selling Support Managers play a vital role within our stores. Reporting to the Store Manager they are directly responsible for all support functions within the store which covers; our Warehouses and Stock Movement, Finance, Operations, Health and Safety, Loss Prevention and Maintenance.
You will ensure that all these areas are co-ordinated effectively with the Sales floor and that all financial, audit and legal controls are maintained, ensuring that we maximise selling and service at all times. Being responsible for several functions this is a broad role where you will have to effectively coach and manage teams with a wide variety of skills and abilities as well as having to influence people across the business to deliver business standards and to achieve the required audit results.
As a Selling Support Manager Designate you will be working along side one of our experienced Selling Support Managers. Alongside this you will have regular reviews with the Store Manager and be given a structured development plan. The expectation is that you will take up a Selling Support Manager role within 6 - 12 months. The role will involve the analysis and interpretation of budgets, therefore strong numeracy and computer literacy skills are essential.
You will be a highly proactive individual who has the ability to analyse complicated data, solve problems and make effective decisions quickly. Using your excellent communication skills you will be able to coach a team to succeed. With your open mind will act as a positive change advocate for the business.
As part of this role and to aid your progression you would need to be able to be mobile to at least 5 Debenhams stores. The role will involve the analysis and interpretation of budgets, therefore strong numeracy and computer literacy skills are essential.
