Aerial Adventures East Kilbride is an exciting new attraction to the soon to be opened re-furbished leisure hub in East Kilbride Shopping Centre. The adventure centre will be home to HiRide, an exhilarating aerial adventure course, a uniquely designed climbing wall, state of the art indoor soft play centre and a supporting cafe.
We require a Reception / Cafe Manager who will be responsible for working within a reception and cafe space, as well as performing management of the children’s soft play area. Day to day tasks would include greeting customers in person or on the phone, taking activity bookings on our web based booking system, preparing and serving hot drinks, packaged food and supervision of the soft play area. Working within a team you could rotate around various roles and responsibilities meaning your day will never be dull. Additional responsibilities would be direct line management of the reception / cafe team, including staff welfare, rota’s, F&B stock ordering, soft play party organisation and relevant H&S requirements. Overall site responsibility in the absence of the General Manager in rotation with the Adventure Activities Supervisor.
We offer full training for the role and would also encourage those wanting to learn more about the adventure activities to apply, as we strongly believe in developing our staff to be multi skilled in all aspects relative to the business.
Successful candidates will be customer service champions with a strong, friendly and enthusiastic personality. A can do attitude and the ability to work flexible hours is essential. Hospitality, retail, reception, barista, children’s soft play or indeed adventure activity experience would be welcome however is not essential. A proven track record within a supervisory or duty management role would also be welcome.
