Sous Chef - 2 Rosette

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £22,000 per annum plus live in

A Sous Chef is required for this superb country house hotel located close to Newbury.

This is a great opportunity for a chef to develop their CV and demonstrate the ability to produce simple but full flavour cooking. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in food and a great personality to share their passion, the ability to keep calm and someone who works well under pressure.

As Sous Chef you will need to be confident in leading the team and ensuring all tasks are completed to ensure the smooth running of the kitchens. You will be expected to ruun the kitchens in the absence of the Head Chef.

As Sous Chef you will be expected to have a stable background in all fresh kitchens, at 2 rosette level. The Head Chef may consider a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking for a step up.
