Junior Sous Chef

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £20,000 per annum plus tips

Junior Sous Chef required for this busy hotel and award winning restaurant

As Junior Sous you should have previous experience of cooking with fresh ingredients ideally in a busy hotel or restaurant.

Previous experience of cooking to a rosette standard is preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate a good knowledge of cooking. The hotel is also a popular business and wedding venue so previous experience of cooking for functions is essential.

As Junior Sous Chef should be a good communicator and be capable of running any section and have the confidence to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef on their days off and holidays etc

There is no live in for this position so applicants need to live close to Kettering, Corby, Thrapston, Oundle, Wellingborough or Northampton area with your own transport


  • The position will pay £7.70 - £8.55 per hour (depending upon experience) for minimum of 45 Hours but you will be paid for all hours worked
