Experienced, creative, dynamic and self motivated Chef/Kitchen Manager required to run a kitchen and brigade of 5 Chefs catering for a busy 40 cover restaurant selling the best Shrimp & Burgers in Southampton.
Responsibilities will include liaising and negotiating with suppliers, achieving a 70% G.P. result during stock takes, producing rota's, stock ordering and rotation, formulating menus and fresh and creative ideas for weekly specials etc, maintaining hygiene, food management and COSHH standards to comply with EHO guidelines, managing staff with the aim of achieving a consistently high standard of service whilst delivering a product of the highest possible quality efficiently.
The position offers a 5 day, 48 hour contract with standard holiday entitlement.
This role also has a realistic and genuine possibility for the chance of promotion within the Group of working in one of its eclectic collection of restaurants, bars and hotels on the south coast.
