Sous Chef required to complete the team at this fast paced Hotel and Award Winning Restaurant
The Head Chef is looking for somebody with the skill and flair to produce Modern Classics and simple dishes packed full of flavour and neatly presented.
As Sous Chef you will need previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients and have good all round experience with some training in the classics and some modern techniques.
The Head chef sees this as a crucial role and is looking for somebody to ‘bounce ideas off’ and somebody who gets excited by the fresh produce being delivered on a daily basis.
As Sous Chef you must display confidence and feel comfortable running service in the absence of the Head Chef, be able to lead by example and have the patience to help train and inspire junior chefs.
This is a live out position so would suit anyone living in the Huntingdon, St. Neots, Godmanchester, Thrapston, Bedford, Sandy or possibly Peterborough area with their own transport if required
Salary upto £23,000 (depending upon experience)
Equal Share of Staff Tips (normally upto £2,000 per year)
