Salary: £27,000 - £38,000 per annum

A Peruvian Restaurant in London is looking for a Strong Sous chef to join their talented chef brigade. With all the produce for the restaurant sourced from the top suppliers, the menu is delicious. The menu will focus around the raw bar and a robata section where the fish and meat will be prepared. With around 400 covers in a busy service they are looking for someone with a spark and a determined attitude to learn as well as experience of catering to large numbers of covers. Passion for food is essential. You will be working in a team of 35 chefs so you must be confident take charge and run a kitchen in the Head Chefs Absence.
The ideal candidate will have some strong experience, within a Rosette or Michelin kitchen. You will be working closely with the head chef and the talented team. You need to be passionate about food, be organised, work at speed to keep up with the fast paced nature of the London kitchens, as well as a desire to learn. Your knowledge of modern food should be good and you should be of a high standard in HACCP and food hygiene. The hospitality and catering industry should be your passion and you should LOVE your job!
The hours for this job are good at 55 per week working 9-11 with an hour break with 4 days on and 3 days off per week. Salary will be dependent on previous experience the salary can go up to a £38,000 for a superstar.
