Gastro Pub Kitchen Manager / Head Chef
Salary: Up to £34,000 per year
Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Head Chef required to run the kitchen in this group owned Gastro pub Restaurant using seasonally changing menus, daily specials and a popular Sunday Lunch.
Standards are high with a many dishes close to rosette standard although achieving accolades are not a goal of the business.
The ideal candidate is somebody:
With a proven track record as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager (A strong Sous Chef may be considered)
Used to cooking with fresh ingredients to consistently high standards
That is a good organiser and can keep a cool head under pressure
With good communication skills capable of communicating with their team and manager
With previous experience of working in a Group and can ensure that every dish cooked is cooked and plated to the dish specifications.
As Head Chef you will be responsible the day to day running of your kitchen and everything that goes with that from organising rotas, organising prep lists, ordering supplies ensuring the hygiene records are fully maintained and the kitchen is making the correct profit and food standards are maintained.
This is a hands-on role and you will be involved in service every day, part of your duties will include training and motivating your team ensuring they deliver an efficient food operation, you will be responsible for the kitchen’s financial performance which can lead to attractive rewards and bonuses.
There is live in for this position, or would also suit so candidates living in the Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Slough or possibly the Watford area with their own transport.
