Sous Chef Alnwick Northumberland 28K Package Plus Temporary Live In

Sous Chef required for this costal Restaurant with rooms located on the Northumberland Coastline in a small village close to Alnwick.

Standards are high with the restaurant operating at 2 rosette level  the Executive Chef is ‘Old School’ learning his Craft in London in Rosette and Michelin properties before returning to the North East. He believes in cooking with simple local ingredients many coming straight from the sea from dayboats. Dishes are not overly complicated but do have a wow factor.

The daytime service is fast paced brasserie style turning lots of covers serving very quick and simple dishes, becoming more refined with more elements in the evening

The Executive Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef who can eventually be trained up to take over the day to day running of the kitchen as Head Chef allowing him to complete essential menu development work and visit the 2 other properties in the group

This could be an excellent role for somebody who likes to be busy and loves cooking with Fish and Shellfish and who is happy to be developed into a Head Chef

Temporary live in is available for this position to allow somebody to relocate if required or it may suit somebody who lives in the Alnwick area with their own transport


Starting salary of upto £25,000
