Sous Chef required to join the team at this superb Gastro Pub using fresh seasonal ingredients with many items sourced directly from their own farm.
The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef with previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients ideally to Rosette standards but this is not essential if you can create popular, creative and good looking tasty dishes that will happily fit in with their style.
As Sous Chef you will need to be a good all-rounder, capable of running any given section as and when required and have the confidence to deputise for the head chef in his absence.
The Head Chef is happy to train somebody in kitchen management i.e. costings, ordering, menu writing etc if they have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
This is a Live out position so candidates will need to live in the Newark, Grantham, Bingham, Sleaford or possibly Lincoln area with their own transport if required
Excellent basic salary of upto £18,000 (depending upon experience)
