Sous Chef - Norwood Hill, Horley
We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs at both junior and senior sous chef level, to join the crew at the Fox Revived, near Horley, which we’re very excited to have as the latest addition to the Brunning & Price family of pub restaurants.
We’re currently in the process of a substantial renovation to restore the building to its former splendour and we plan to re-open in Late Autumn as a traditional freehold pub restaurant with a purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standard.
The Fox will have the bar at its heart and food in its soul. You will find six cask ales on tap, an extensive wine list and a fine selection of spirits. Our seasonal menu will include high quality, freshly cooked food complemented by some more exotic influences from around the world – in other words, modern British cooking.
We're looking to get our senior members of crew on board sooner rather then later for training at our other pubs, so you can hit the ground running when we open.

We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs with excellent cooking skills, experience in helping to set and achieve GP percentages and the ability to manage high volumes with the right standards of quality and consistency.
Together with the head chef you will help develop seasonal menus with a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.
You’ll assist in sourcing ingredients from the best suppliers and efficiently run service in the head chef’s absence and so your kitchen management and organisational skills will be of paramount importance. Creating a happy working atmosphere is vital to the successful running of the kitchens and comes high on our agenda and so your contribution to creating a friendly and supportive working environment is crucial.
Depending on your experience, as a Sous Chef we’ll reward you with a starting salary package from £23,000 up to £28,000 per annum. Our rate of growth means that there are exciting opportunities springing up all the time and we always try to promote from within when we can which means this is an excellent stepping stone on the road to managing your own kitchen.
