Territory Manager - Market Leading Fitness Equipment Supplier
We have an outstanding opportunity to work in a senior field sales capacity for one of the market leading health and fitness equipment suppliers. This newly created position covers a territory around the North of England with a Yorkshire base. You will be tasked with proactively approaching and targeting a wide range of leisure operators including private clubs, local authorities, hotels, spas, golf and country clubs, private clubs and standalone facilities.
The position will involve a combination of key account management and business development and the successful candidate can expect to be making between 30-50 sales calls per week with a view of setting up around 10 face to face appointments with decision makers within the clubs. You will benefit from a large number of incoming leads from the central marketing team which will be a huge help in being able to arrange meetings, prepare proposals and quotations and ultimately be able to close multiple sales.
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in the health and fitness industry but are very open to backgrounds, whether that is from regional or cluster management or group fitness or regional sales management. The key is to find an individual with a tenacious and go getting attitude, which will put in the calls and the mileage to meet and exceed their KPIs and most importantly to close business and build partnerships based around solution selling and offering the best advice and guidance to the clients.
You will be required to conduct presentations in person and with a laptop and as such a confident, personable disposition with good all round interpersonal, communication and skills are essential
As this is a field sales role it is essential candidates have a driving licence and are willing and able to spend large parts of their working day covering the territory. You will be based from home and full support will be provided in setting up a home office. My client is offering a highly competitive basic and overall package.
