Operations Managers – Sports and Leisure  x3  Nationwide up to 30K basic 35K OTE plus accommodation

We are looking for 3 sports and leisure managers with extensive centre or operational management to head up a very busy pools and sports activity and coaching programmes  at some of the biggest holiday parks in the country.  My client is one of the UK's biggest and most successful leisure groups in the country and they welcome thousands of guests each week to their quality destinations and the sport and leisure offering is pivotal to the enjoyment of their holiday. We are looking for candidates who will assume full responsibility for the sports and leisure offering within the park which include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, slides and rides, a wide range of sports and coaching activities including archery, climbing walls,  high ropes, fencing, football, tennis, mini golf and other associated leisure and fitness activities.

You will be tasked with managing and directing a large team of sports coaches, lifeguards, recreation attendants and swimming teachers and have budgetary responsibility for both income and expenditure and take responsibility for rotas, shifts and programming. A key part of this role will be the development of the commercial side of the business and we are looking for candidates with entrepreneurial flair and a keen eye for ensuring that revenues are maximised in the sports and leisure department. It is essential that interested candidates hold an up to date Pool Plant and Lifeguard Qualification and have a thorough knowledge of health and safety.

We are looking for candidates with a strong centre or operational management experience within the leisure industry with well-developed leadership and influencing skills with a minimum of 3 years management experience. . There are also excellent opportunities for future career progression. In addition these positions offer accommodation on site and also offer huge flexibility to take extended leave in the off peak/winter season. It is essential that interested candidates are able to relocate to any coastal holiday park within the country.
