We are looking for new people and current National Trust staff and volunteers who would like regular hours of work preparing our holiday cottages for our guests.  Holidays in the Lake District continue to be very popular all year round.  Our cottages set in Wasdale, Eskdale and the Duddon Valley offer the benefits of working in beautiful surroundings, whilst making a difference to someone’s holiday.
Hours: 12 hours a week. The main changeover days are Monday, Friday or Saturday however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week, and you would have the opportunity to work additional hours.  We don’t work Sundays.  Rotas are issued in advance. You’ll need to be available between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm (there may be flexibility with the finish time if the applicant has prior commitments). Free parking is available.
Duration: Permanent
Interview date: TBC
Salary: 11.50 an hour
Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'.
Because this role is based in a rural area, please think about how you’d be able to get here for work, before you apply for this job. Public transport is limited.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
