Facilities and Maintenance Operative - Faversham

Do you enjoy working on historical buildings and are passionate about maintaining their heritage and history? Do you like working outdoors and are you looking for an active and varied role?

We have a unique opportunity for an adaptable and reliable Facilities and Maintenance Operative to help in preserving our Faversham Brewery and Support Office.

This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has a passion for carrying out a broad range of routine maintenance work, creative carpentry tasks as well as small build projects.

As an independent team member, you will work closely with our Engineers, Production and Estates Departments, as well as our internal Safety Advisor and within the Production environments carrying out routine building and facility maintenance to rectify any defects.

The role involves working on a variable shift pattern between the hours of 6 am and 9 pm Monday to Friday.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience with all types of building disciplines, including but not limited to brickwork, plastering and concreting
  • Ability to work alone, or, within a team environment essential
  • Experience with all types of general plumbing
  • Competent carpentry experience
  • Confined Space training is adventatious
  • Basic Computer competence
  • Fork Lift Truck and Mobile Platform training is an advantage
