Position: Deputy Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager at Zerodegrees Microbrewery. The Deputy Manager will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the brewery, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth. This position requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for craft beer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Assist in managing all aspects of brewery operations, including bar service, food service, brewery tours, and events.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Sales & Profitability: Drive sales growth through effective marketing and promotional strategies, while maintaining cost control and maximizing profitability.
- Inventory & Supplies: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing wastage.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a brewery or similar setting.
- Beer Knowledge: Strong understanding of craft beer, brewing processes, and beer styles.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
- Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently and effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills, including budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
