Nestled in the picturesque village of Broadway, The Lygon Arms, a historic 600-year-old coaching inn, has elevated its dining experiences through an exciting new partnership with Chef James Martin. Since their opening in March 2023, both the Grill and Tavern have quickly become two of the most sought-after restaurants in the Cotswolds. These venues follow the remarkable success of James Martin’s culinary ventures at Chewton Glen in Hampshire, where his innovative menu at The Kitchen Restaurant & Cookery School has been a standout since its launch in 2017.

Role Overview: Chef de Partie

As a Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Chef in preparing dishes to the highest standards set by The Lygon Arms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef during each service, ensuring dishes meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the chef's brigade to serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
  • Liaise with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to suggest improvements on dishes and service.
  • Ensure the presentation, taste, texture, and quality of dishes are consistently maintained.
  • Lead by example within the brigade.

About You:

  • Experience at the Chef de Partie level is desirable.
  • Keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and confidence in team communication.
