Assistant Retail Manager - Cambridge
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.As a Assistant Retail Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. - Thurs: Full-time (Days)
- Fri: Full-time (Days)

- Sun:
- Business partner with key stakeholders, both financial and non-financial, to ensure strong commercial decision-making.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing proactive financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Identify, understand, and manage financial risks and opportunities arising from ongoing operations and balance sheet maintenance.
- Deliver key business reports such as month-end reports, budgets, and cash analyses, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Train operational teams on financial reporting to improve their performance.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and highlight key risks and opportunities.
- Promote working capital improvements and manage debt ledgers.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and preparing presentations.
- Assist with client tenders, negotiations, and capital expenditure appraisals.
- Be a Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Have Industry experience in a service business.
- Be experienced in management accounting, including producing reports and analysis for commercial decision-making.
- Posses strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Have experience in business partnering with non-finance professionals.
