Food & Beverage Manager Up to 50k per annum plus bonus Fancy joining the Megan's Support Office and taking responsibility for the F&B supply chain? We're looking for someone to oversee our F&B systems such as EPOS, recipe & stock management software, as well as managing the smooth running of new menu launches. Role
Reporting to our F&B Director and working with the Executive Chef, you will act as a liaison between the business and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication & efficient collaboration. You'll provide insights into our food & drink offering by keeping up to date with food & drink trends and competitor activity, as well as using data to influence decisions. Having a strong operational focus you'll also ensure dishes can be delivered efficiently & consistently within our kitchen & bar model, working with the team to ensure consistency & accuracy across systems & menu launch collateral.The Day to Day

- Work on tenders, identifying opportunities for savings, preparing tender documentation & analysing data
- Establish good relationships with our suppliers, source new SKUs, negotiate pricing and ensure systems are up to date
- Establish good relationships with key stakeholders and ensure timely & efficient comms
- Support with ad-hoc projects as required by the business, such as new food & drink offerings to drive sales, or cost saving initiatives
- Monthly item sales analysis to evaluate menu performance & identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in new menu launches, from conception through to delivery in sites
- Supporting with menu development, with an opportunity to lead on drinks development
- Manage the trial process, including overseeing the development of new items and trial performance analysis
- Writing accurate briefing packs that are consistent with spec cards & other internal documentation, ensuring end-to-end documentation supports in the training of new items into the business
- Manage recipe creation, menu management and costings
- Oversee till updates for menus and promotions
- Optimise kitchen & bar processes & tools for simplicity, efficiency & consistency
- Have solid experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Have specific experience in procurement, F&B systems & menu change process management
- Be comfortable with the use of technology for day-to-day tasks as well as project management
- Have strong MS Office skills, particularly within Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have a good commercial instinct and attention to detail
- Be proactive, open to change & comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Megan's is a growing brand and hospitality is fast-paced. We need someone that can work independently, is adaptable and is excited by personal growth & the growth of the brand
- Have excellent communication skills, able to build good relationships with suppliers, colleagues and key stakeholders
- Ideally have Zonal suite (Acquire, Menu Manager & Aztec) and project management software (Asana in particular) experience
