We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for GSK OC in GSK

Location: GSK

Rate of pay:  €18.50 per hour

Working pattern: 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

Design, create, and update seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant’s concept and vision.
Incorporate customer feedback, culinary trends, and local ingredients to innovate new dishes.

Develop and maintain standardized recipes to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Manage kitchen staff schedules, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Conduct regular training sessions on culinary techniques, safety standards, and food hygiene.

Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
Monitor food costs and implement strategies to minimize waste while maintaining quality.

Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout all food preparation areas.

Conduct regular quality checks of dishes before service to ensure they meet the restaurant’s standards.
Address customer complaints and feedback, making improvements where necessary.

Work closely with restaurant management to align kitchen operations with business goals.
Participate in planning and execution of special events, promotions, and menu rollouts.

Assist in the development and management of the kitchen budget.
Monitor financial performance, providing reports and recommendations for cost optimization.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients at competitive prices.

Implement sustainable practices within the kitchen, focusing on reducing waste, sourcing locally, and utilizing eco-friendly products.Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
