Location: Institution of Engineering and Technology

Rate of pay: £23,400 per annum

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Barista & Front of House Assistant to prepare coffee, serve lunch, and support meetings and events. You'll ensure exceptional hospitality, providing guests with a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages and tea.
• Maintain coffee machines and ensure quality and consistency.
• Monitor stock and restock supplies as needed.
• Greet and serve guests with a friendly attitude.
• Take orders and serve lunch/snacks during meetings or events.
• Keep front-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Assist with setting up and delivering beverages for meetings and events.
• Ensure event spaces remain tidy and guests are well taken care of.
• Provide excellent service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests or concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous barista or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Flexible and team-oriented.
