JOB TITLE: L&D Business Partner

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE: 

  • In this hands-on role, reporting into the Group HR Director, you will be instrumental in the creation, delivery and continual improvement of our core L&D programmes and initiatives focusing on developing essential skills and capabilities whilst fostering a culture of growth.
  • You will have the responsibility for the creation, delivery and continual improvement of our core L&D programmes. You will leverage your expertise in learning delivery and operations to create innovative solutions that drive engagement and learning outcomes.
  • We have some great foundations in place, and this will be about evolution, taking things to the next level and moving towards a best-in-class approach with exceptional basics.

MAIN DUTIES

Strategic Support

  • Assisting the Group HR Director in creating the learning and development strategy and setting clearly defined KPIs ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy
  • Develop and execute a strategic calendar for learning program delivery
  • Design and deliver L&D programs and initiatives
  • Bring industry trends, innovations and disruptive new ideas to drive the value, effectiveness and engagement of our L&D portfolio
  • Support on Ad hoc projects aligned to the overall HR strategy and/or key initiatives

Learning & Development

  • Own the new starter 90 day on-boarding framework ensuring they complete their OTJ training, online training, inductions and training plans
  • Ensure our Regulatory & Mandatory training programme is effectively set up, delivered and monitored in line with the agreed framework
  • Ensure that both Company and local inductions are being held for new starters to a consistent companywide standard
  • Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops
  • Act as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance on development opportunities
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skills gaps and training needs across the business
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Partner with both HRBPs and business leaders to identify skill gaps / development needs and design appropriate L&D plans
  • Develop a suite of tools and learning materials to uplift line manager capability
  • Creation, management and delivery of leadership and management programmes
  • Promote and champion the use of our online learning offering that supports self-development and personal development for all employees

Reporting, Processes and Systems

  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and other performance metrics
  • Provide regular L&D performance reporting including on our regulatory requirements
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and partners
  • Recommend and implement new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance the effectiveness of Learning & Development initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced learning and development business.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing learning programs that drive organizational performance and employee development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and to interpret data and make informed decisions to enhance learning strategies and outcomes.
  • Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant technologies that support learning delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A passion for Learning & Development and have a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Can-do attitude, high energy, naturally and proactively identifying challenges as well as developing and delivering solutions of value.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
