-Are you ready to shape the future of data-driven decision-making at Virgin Atlantic? As the Manager - Data Product (BI & Analytics), you will lead the charge in developing and executing a cutting-edge data product strategy that aligns with our ambitious goals.
In this role, you will be hands-on, driving innovation by prototyping, experimenting, and overseeing the creation of high-performance, scalable data products. You will collaborate closely with BI teams and top-tier development partners to ensure every data solution not only meets the highest standards in quality & performance, but also pushes the boundaries of what's possible.
Your ability to engage with stakeholders, gather insights, and communicate effectively will be key to ensuring our data products deliver real, measurable value across the organisation. Staying at the forefront of BI & analytics technologies and trends, you'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and keeping Virgin Atlantic at the forefront of analytics.
Moreover, you'll set the bar for quality and user adoption, establishing standards, monitoring performance, and providing the necessary support to ensure our data products are not only used, but loved.

Day to day
- Lead the development and execution of data product strategies, prototypes, and improvement of existing products to drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify business needs and convert them into data requirements & solutions, advertising usage and adoption of the subsequent assets.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Help define and implement data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support data-driven decision making.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in business intelligence and analytics.
About you
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in data product roles, BI development, advanced analytics, data science or data engineering with a focus on cloud-based BI and Self-Service Data Solutions.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, and Azure, as well as programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
