Location: Hybrid working -The VHQ Crawley 3x days on site and 2x days from wfh

In this role, you'll manage the entire data product lifecycle, from prototype to deployment, collaborating with business, digital, and development teams to ensure each product drives measurable success. Your work with stakeholders will gather key requirements, craft solutions, and deliver reliable data endpoints for both internal and external applications.

You'll stay ahead with the latest in data integration, APIs, and digital technology, setting quality standards, driving user adoption, and ensuring documentation and release management for robust and widely-used data products.

Day to day

  • Lead the development and execution of data product strategies, prototypes, and improvement of existing products to enable a range of consumption initiatives into internal and external digital applications. 
  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify business needs and convert them into requirements and solutions, advertising usage and adoption of the subsequent assets. 
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business objectives. 
  • Lead squads of data product analysts, data engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to successfully implement innovative data solutions, feeding various systems. 
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of products and drive continuous improvement 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies, recommending new approaches to enhance our feed and provisioning capabilities for core data and ML outputs 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging creativity and out-of-the-box thinking 

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  
  • Proven experience in managing data product development and qualification of value. 
  • Expertise in ingress, egress and consumption mechanisms for data and ML models to internal and external systems, along with a strong understanding of data protection, architectural and information security considerations. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail 
  • Outstanding communication and ability to effectively manage relationships with various parties involved. 
  • Seeking a motivated and determined individual, with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
