If you are successful, sufficient notice will be provided when we have a ship and start date for you.
With a culture that focuses on team work, we encourage mentorship and ensure our 3rd Engineers are guided by our experienced 2nd Engineers during watches in the Engine Room. You will have the opportunity to undertake preventative and planned maintenance, making sure that the on board machinery and equipment is as safe and efficient as possible. Your team will guide you through our policies and procedures working with your colleagues to complete repairs and report any faults. Our teams lead by example providing an exceptional Safety culture on board, you will be able to partake in inspections, training and meetings regarding environmental compliance and a safe HESS culture. You will also get the chance to pass your knowledge onto Cadets and Technicians to ensure tasks are undertaken safely.
To apply for 3rd Engineer Officer you will need to hold an Engineering OOW Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC) III/1.
