Job Description
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: 40,000
Main Purpose
- To generate and contribute sales which will achieve the 30 Euston Square Monthly, Quarterly and Annual budget, profitability targets and deadlines.
- Responsible for client account development and to be proactive on the acquisition of new business opportunities for 30 Euston Square.
- To maximise all revenue opportunities for both 30 Euston Square and Searcys.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Research potential business target clients to identify buying influences, need for our services, use of competitors services' and plan the sales approach and proactively target new business.
- Explore existing clients to ensure the company has identified all opportunities for revenue generation from each account/client by building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Follow-up sales leads, undertaking meetings on/off site. Presentations and competitor venue viewings.
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of proposals and quotations for new business.
- To develop an excellent knowledge of the local market and implement a local prospecting plan to develop new business, including corporate and leisure business.
- To maintain good relationships with other key venue finding agencies to increase the conversion level and revenue from this source.
- To assist with and participate in corporate hospitality and promotional activity where required, both internally and externally.
- To attend Tradeshows, networking events and Famtrips
- To keep up to date with event trends, new openings and competitors as well as their offerings
Sales:
- To participate in sales forecasting, planning, researching and goal setting for the venue.
- To contribute to the venue business planning process working with the Head of Sales, Events and Marketing.
- To have an understanding of the venue sales targets and to work towards all sales strategies.
- To support team members in dealing with enquiries as and when required.
- To become familiar with and maintain the Delphi system, in order to keep an up to date database for marketing and promotional activities.
- To ensure adherence with the company's sales process and guidelines.
- To be involved with cross-venue or corporate sales projects as required.
- To report on activities at venue sales meetings as required.
Financial:
- To assist with the preparation of statistical data, information and other management reporting relating to sales.
- To adhere to the company credit control guidelines.
- To be aware of the company's purchasing policies and guidelines.
- To achieve targeted KPIs as agreed by the Head of SME
Other responsibilities:
- To develop good working relationships with all other members of the venues and central departments.
- To lead, develop and build confidence with other team members, colleagues and partners.
- To ensure all statutory health and safety and fire regulations are under taking as requested by 30 Euston Square, Royal College of General Practitioners and Searcys.
- To undertake reasonable requests for adhoc duties as requested by the Head of Sales, Events and Marketing or Venue Director.
Qualifications
- Strong sales background
- Demonstrate your sales career within the hospitality sector
- Experience working within Food service/hospitality is essential
- Proven experience of managing an end-to-end sales process and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to close both local bids.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently both verbally and written at all levels.
- Keen to make your mark in the sector by being at the heart of a regional team and leading sales opportunities.
- Excellent customer focused manner.
- Committed to delivering service excellence.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
