Full Time & Part Time Opportunities Available

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week

Swim Central Preston has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Swimming Teachers who are passionate about the progression of learning through our swimming programme.

Duties:

• Teach swim lessons to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on the needs and abilities of each student
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all participants Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills
• Monitor and ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress of swimmers

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and interact with students of all ages
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Must be able to pass a background check

Essential criteria:

• ASA/Swim England/ STA Level 1

Desirable criteria:

• ASA/Swim England Level 2
• STA Level 2 Award/Certificate
• Level 2 Baby and Pre-School
