We are now looking for fast-paced, charismatic, outgoing Cafe Assistants to join our We Do Play team based in Primark Cardiff.

Job Purpose

As a Cafe Assistant, you will be working in the Disney Cafe preparing and serving food & beverages to our guests. Reporting to the Cafe Manager, your typical daily duties will include the following:

• You’ll be assisting with food preparation for guests - we have a variety of treats for our guests from pizzas to waffles. You’ll also be maintaining high food safety standards!
• Making and serving drinks - both hot and cold - what would you choose? A Milkshake or an Espresso?
• Providing excellent customer service to every guest
• Creating a magical experience from start to finish
• Effectively manage queues and multiple guests
• Maintain both brand standards
• Maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Maintaining all health & safety within the Cafe
• Carrying out Opening and Closing procedures
• Assisting with restocking and stock rotation

Working Conditions

We are seeking Cafe Assistants to join our team on a zero-hour contract, covering both weekdays and weekends, typically between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. We welcome applicants looking for either part-time or full-time schedules. Opportunities are available on a temporary basis throughout the upcoming Christmas period or as a permanent position.

Rates of Pay

Under 21 - £9 per hour

21+ - £11.44 per hour
