Regional Operations Manager - France

This is a permanent, full time, live off role working a flexible schedule including days, evenings weekends and public bank holidays

Salary: 65,000

Based at either L signy, Ardeche or Ebblinghem with frequent travel to the other sites

 
As a Regional Operations Manager you will lead a team of Centre General Managers, focused on ensuring every guest has the best possible experience. You will deliver exceptional standards and a safe experience throughout your Centres, that delights our guests and leaves them wanting to return

THE ROLE

PGL is synonymous with learning outside the classroom in a framework of fun, safety, and achievement. We have been giving young people the adventure of a lifetime since 1957 and now operate outdoor activity centres across the UK, France and Australia. Our staff are integral in contributing towards the life-changing experiences of our guests. The Health and Safety of our guests and team is paramount. We need you to ensure everything is done accurately and to the very highest industry standards and that you will instill these standards within your teams.

As a Regional Operations Manager  you will strive to develop the potential of individuals and teams, empower people to maximize their performance, create a supporting team making clear decisions and drive organisational change.

No two days are the same as you will role model a strong presence 'on the floor' overseeing the numerous areas of the operation including catering, retail and housekeeping always ensuring standards are exceeded and developed.


IS THIS YOU?

You will have worked in a Senior Management role in a fast-paced busy consumer-facing environment. You will be great at setting your own work agenda, be super self-motivated and prioritise well. You will have a proven track record of delighting customers with the best standards of delivery to deliver our brochure promise.


The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a large team, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead your team, with positivity, rigor and ambition.


In the office you will be a confident user of technology, Microsoft Office, Excel and be well versed in projects and managing budgets.


We'll need you to have a full, clean driving licence; have measurable experience in managing Health and Safety in a work environment and have sound knowledge of Safeguarding requirements
