We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Supplies People team at Greggs as a Supplies People Advisor and really help to shape exciting and dynamic supply site.

About the role

  • This role is for 35 hours each week.
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • This is a hybrid role and will require a mixture of home working and working from our Manchester Supply site, offering support to sites across the country.

What you'll do

  • To provide first line people advice to supply chain line managers
  • To ensure effective and consistent implementation of People Polices
  • To support the Supplies People Manager at the Manchester site and at other sites across the country as required in employee engagement and encourage fair and impartial employee relations on a variety of different people issues
  • To highlight any areas of non-compliance and provide assistance to rectify these within appropriate timescales
  • Ensures data is processed accurately and people systems and records are kept up to date.
  • To deliver effective, timely and confidential support on all employee well-being issues


About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisory and People administration role is essential
  • Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain GDPR best practise
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Teams
  • Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
  • Have Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising & excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are self-motivated and able to work autonomously using your own initiative
  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working but remote team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
  • Flexibility in working hours as there will be occasions where early mornings or evenings are required
