Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Security Night Guard to join our Security team!

The Security Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring all our Staff, Adventurers and company assets remain protected and safe at all times, 24 hours a day. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out site security patrols, site lockdowns, as well as asset transfers and CCTV reviewing. Being around our resort, guest interaction will be key.

You will work closely with the local authorities to carry out various operations, whilst keeping everyone’s safety at the forefront of our business. Ensuring any issues that arise are dealt with in an appropriate and professional manner, ensuring that all aspects of the Security Department reflect the highest standard of presentation, professionalism and company culture and values.

This is a fast paced and active role involving outside working and is predominantly night time based. Shifts available are between 8-12 hours in length (20:00-08:00 and 22:00-06:00) and will be on a rolling 4 on 4 off rota pattern, however due to the nature of the business this may vary at times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • An active, in date SIA license (Door Supervisor Level 2).
  • Ideally hold an SIA CCTV Operator license (desirable, but not essential)
  • Ideally hold and maintain a Full UK Driving License.
  • Experienced in the use of CCTV systems.
  • Proficient in a variety of communications systems, including radio and telephone use.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows computer operating systems (Microsoft Word , Excel, Outlook)
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to talk to all types of guests.
  • Have a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
