As a Goods-in and Courier Porter  will be based on Allen & Overy Shearman LLP, a global law firm. Being a responsible business is a core part of AO Shearman's strategy and how we work. AO Shearman is one of Searcy's most exquisite venues. Working as a Goods-in and Courier Porter for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver services that creates lasting memories. As a Goods-in and Courier Porter you will work in Back of House department supporting Back of House Supervisor and Compliance and Back of House Manager in the day to day running of the venue. You will work collaboratively with both the kitchen and front of house team to deliver bespoke client services.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in back of house catering operations, including receiving and managing goods, logging items in the internal mail system, answering the telephone and emailing clients when goods have arrived.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations, including accurate recording of due diligence information
  • Manage deliveries, inspect goods for quality, and distribute to appropriate areas
  • Set up and break down events, function rooms, and cooking equipment
  • Perform general cleaning, dishwashing, and administrative tasks as required
  • Support the wider business operations in covering Businesses Admin tasks and carry out any other reasonable requests from Senior Management

Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in catering/kitchen porter roles with intermediate computer skills
  • Good understanding of food storage, delivery procedures, and stock management
