More about the role:The role is based at Leopardstown Racecourse but also covers Fairyhouse and the Curragh racecourses, own transport is essential. You will be required to work weekends for larger race days and festivals in particular:
  • Dublin Racing Festival Leopardstown Racecourse - first weekend in February
  • Easter Festival Fairyhouse Racecourse - Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday
  • The Guineas The Curragh Racecourse - last weekend in May
  • The Derby Curragh Racecourse - last weekend in June/first weekend in July Friday, Saturday Sunday
  • Champions Weekend - second weekend in September - Saturday (Leopardstown) and Sunday (The Curragh)
  • The Winter Festival Fairyhouse Racecourse - first weekend in December
  • The Christmas Festival Leopardstown Racecourse - December 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th
Duties will include:
  • Ensure that staff of the highest caliber are always resourced, liaising with the Hospitality Management team and Head Chef
  • Ensure that all personnel employed at the racecouurse are trained and developed to deliver the highest standards of service as required by the client
  • Commitment to employee welfare and adherence to employment law at all times
  • Ensure the venue are optimising its variable resources and database
  • Drive the process for:
        • Recruitment & Onboarding and Induction process
        • Labour cost management & payroll
        • Learning and Development initiatives
        • Employee Relations
        • People Signature Compliance
About you:
  • Previous experience in a HR/People Operations/Recruitment role
  • Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline an advantage
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry an advantage
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, "can do" approach
  • Excellent organisational skills
