Wilde by Staycity St. Peters Square Manchester is currently recruiting an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office Manager to lead our talented Reception & Food and Beverage team.
What you can do for us
- Support the Front Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the front desk, breakfast, and bar area on a daily basis, liaising between the guest and all departments.
- Welcome all guests to the hotel in a friendly manner in conjunction with SOP.
- Monitor and action feedback received through guest satisfaction survey, 3rd party websites and from clients after and during their stay and resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within guidelines issued.
- Supervise department employees ensuring the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated.
- To anticipate and rectify problems to ensure the guests wellbeing and satisfaction within the hotel.
- Manage and motivate a team of direct reports on a daily basis, deputizing in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
- Maintain our best-in-class guest experience through training and motivation.
- Make us better – bring suggestions for improvements to the Front Office Manager.
What you’ll need
- Attention to detail and ability to self-organize.
- Ability to manage teams.
- Ability to communicate with all members of the team and guests.
- Previous hotel/hospitality management experience in a similar standard of property.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- A passion for delivering the best possible guest experience.
