A fantastic opportunity is available for a Full Stack Software Engineer to?join one of our Agile delivery teams building solutions used by thousands?of colleagues and customers daily.
YOUR ROLE
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design and build of full stack applications using a range of technologies including TypeScript, Azure Functions, React and React Native.
You’ll work as part of an agile delivery squad using either Scrum or Kanban, you’ll be using techniques such as pair and mob programming and be passionate about sharing of knowledge, learning and working with others as part of a team to improve the experience of our colleagues and customers.
About you
Hands-on experience with front end languages including one or more JavaScript Frameworks, such as: React, React Native
Hands-on experience with with other technologies including one of more of Typescript, NodeJS, Azure Functions, Terraform
Ideally worked in a mobile environment to implement full stack systems under the guidance of a wider team
Exposure to designing mobile solutions utilising cloud technologies
Experience of committing code early and often, that demonstrates your understanding of version control & branching strategies
Experience in DevOps and Lean/Agile environment and understanding of principles behind methodologies.
Keen interest in learning from, mentoring and develop those around you and share knowledge with the wider software community
Understanding of ‘clean code’ principles to create well structured, maintainable and scalable software – that is secure by default.
Contribute to discussions on the design of a particular area and understand the domain well enough to work with Product Owners / Managers / Stakeholders to drive value.
Supporting production systems, resolving incidents and performing root cause analysis.
Contribute to Software community of practise and drive a culture of knowledge sharing.
Be a great team player, building relationships with all types of roles within product engineering
