What you'll do:

• Lead and manage the daily production process to meet set targets, ensuring consistent quality and food safety standards.
• Supervise and motivate the production team, ensuring performance is high and in line with KPIs.
• Oversee all food safety and HACCP compliance, working closely with the team and external auditors.
• Coordinate production schedules and rotas within the set labour budget, ensuring smooth operation across multiple shifts.
• Support with the transition to a scaled-up production unit, maintaining efficiency as production volumes increase.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitoring raw material quality, and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Coach and develop your team, promoting a positive, solution-focused culture.
• Ensure systems like Comtrex, Fourth, and HACCP Food Alert are used effectively for smooth operations.
• Maintaining SOPs , and training the team when needed.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in food production management, with a strong focus on performance, food safety (L3), and HACCP (Level 2).
• Experience with food processing, automation, and managing production teams.
• Proficiency in systems like Comtrex, Fourth, and HACCP Food Alert.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance.
• Hands-on approach with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Resilience and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.
