Role Description:

We’re looking for a hospitality-driven Restaurant Manager to join our team! In this full-time, on-site role, responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of our Le Pain Quotidien flagship store, working alongside our UK General Manager to ensure all company standards are consistently met. You will maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both team and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and profitable store management, following company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maximize team effectiveness and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle financial tasks, including cash handling, payroll, and accurate recording of sales and service charges.
  • Facilitate communication between management and team members, addressing operational challenges and guest concerns.  

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including fire safety and food hygiene.
  • Proven experience in restaurant management, with the ability to achieve budget and performance goals.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, including proficiency in payroll, banking, and reporting tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of managing guest concerns and team dynamics while fostering a positive work environment.
