Job Description
Reporting into the Senior Business Analyst, the Finance Business Analyst will work alongside two other BA's to analyse & document processes as part of a Finance Transformation programme spanning all Finance functions.
This role will play a pivotal part in understanding the Group's processes, and aid in the risk profiling and optimisation of finance processes. You will have a designated area of responsibility in analysing & documenting finance processes, presenting a clear view of end-to-end processes, and identifying key control points from a Risk & Control perspective.
You will also liaise with stakeholders at all levels, performing information gathering to a high standard, and using critical thinking to balance conflicting views and document a wholly clear and concise process.
This would suit someone with meticulous documentation skills, and with experience in Finance to leverage an understanding of how processes should work, and where improvements can be made.
Qualifications
- Accounting qualifications and knowledge of key accounting processes.
- Background in audit would be preferable, but not required.
- Varied Data/Finance Systems experience and knowledge.
- Ability to independently write Business Process documents according to prescribed standards.
- The ability to transform explanations into clear and easy to follow documentation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience within finance functions or business process analysis.
- Experience of working in a multi-site, multi-location organisation with distributed Finance teams
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Dynamics 365 experience or implementation an advantage.
