Regional Executive Chef- South East up to 50,000 per annum Cambridge

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Executive Chef to work with us in the South East.

We are looking for a strong, passionate and food focused Executive chef to join our Senior food team. The role will be to support, develop and coach our chefs within the South West region of the UK as well as guide our operations teams on the Gather & Gather brand pillars and food ethos aross our diverse business. Being able to mentor, develop and coach is a must as well as having a real passion for food and the thousand details around it from service style, seasonality, sustainability, innovation and up and coming food trends.

This is a Monday to Friday field based position. 

Location: South East- Cambridge and surrounding areas

Rate of pay: up to £50,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Reporting into the Chef Director but also working closely with the Regional Operations Director to drive food sales, operational delivery and also chef recruitment with in the region as well as all new sales tenders, mobilisations and also client showcases form a key part to the role alongside the consistent development of the food offer with in Gather & Gather to maintain ourselves as one of the market leaders in food innovation and quality.

Candidate Profile:
• Someone with a desire and passion to cook with fresh quality ingredients sources from local producers.
• We are looking for someone who is willing to always push culinary boundaries
• A leader who will train, nurture and develop future talent within the business.
• Has significant exposure to a variety of different commercial kitchens.

Desired Experience:
• Extensive experience within the contract catering industry.
• Up to date knowledge of local food trends and culinary techniques.
• Able to demonstrate the highest level of food quality.
• Experience of leading large teams
