The Role

Our Floor Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects and functions of the Restaurant operation in accordance with The Lensbury’s brand standards.  You will oversee all aspects of the Restaurant operation to ensure quality of service and standards and compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure standards are maintained to run a smooth and safe operation daily
  • Support the Assistant Restaruant Manager and F&B Services Manager in managing the overall Restaurant budget
  • Direct day-to-day staffing requirements, planning and assigning work
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve team member performance
  • Support with performance reviews; assessing employee performance
  • Ensure the team remain motivated through recognition, reward, training and development
  • Recommend or initiate any HR related actions where needed
  • Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations
  • Take ownership of resolving guest problems, and action plan to improve guest experience and service quality
  • Drive social media responses to build a positive profile e.g. on TripAdvisor, Booking.com
  • Implement and control effective daily purchasing and ordering activities to optimise service and profit performance
  • Oversee the monthly inventory for all the wines and beverages conducted in collaboration with the Finance department
  • Make sure all food and beverage equipment is operational and regularly cleaned
  • Assist in initiating and implementing marketing programmes
  • Adhere to company H&S policy, completing all required training
  • Maintain H&S audit and complete all actions required
  • Make sure all restaurant facilities are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume.
  • Notify Facilities of any maintenance or repair needs

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

  • Previous hotel experience in similar role is advantageous
  • An absolute commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Lead by example and be flexible and adaptable
  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Have excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Be highly organized with an efficient approach. At all times you will be expected to provide excellent hospitality to both internal and external guests
