Maintenance Technician - Weybridge, Surrey

An experienced Maintenance Technician is required to work at the prestigious private members Club, St Georges Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Weybridge Surrey.

The main purpose of the role is to maintain and support the maintenance of the fabric, facilities, grounds, and installations of St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club (STGHLTC), using in-house resources or, where required, outside contractors, to ensure excellent member service is delivered.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planned Maintenance

  • Heating and ventilation filter changes
  • Check and adjust operation of heating and ventilation and mechanical services
  • Fire alarm testing and logging as per Club standards
  • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance of emergency light fittings
  • De-scaling sanitary and plumping fittings
  • Water testing
  • Redecoration programme for heavy use/wear areas
  • Locker checks
  • Pool testing and management
  • Supporting the open and closing of the building if out of hours works are required

Reactive Maintenance

Working alongside a fellow Maintenance Technician to ensure that any reactive maintenance issues are resolved in a safe and timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Assisting in the setup of large-scale events and returning the Club to normal operations after the event
  • Changing of light bulbs in a safe manner
  • Repair of Club property under guidance of the Senior Management Team
  • Repairs of Club equipment, property, fixtures, and fittings

Health & Safety

  • Comply with the provisions of STGHLTC Health & Safety Policy

Other

  • Any other tasks as may reasonably be required to fulfil the duties and role of Maintenance Technician
  • To be flexible with working hours with night shifts, morning, afternoon, and evening works.
  • Some administration tasks will be required and IT skills are preferred.
