We are looking to hire a supervisor to work with one of our prestigious clients.

The supervisor is for one of the restaurants - Bruno's, which is an Italian a la carte restaurant and a cafe bar. 

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as Bar Supervisor will consist of:

  • Supervise the team to ensure effective quality of service are provided and maintained to the standard of the client, customers and company. 
  • Full responsibility of operations when the manager is not present 
  • Lead by example and maintain good positive attitude toward the client and the company and motivating the staff.
  • Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling stocks within budget
  • Responsible for weekly stocktakes
  • Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40hrs

Skills and Experience

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our future Bar Supervisor include:

  • Previous experience within bars or restaurants and real understanding in Mixology, fine Wines, Ale and Good Coffee
  • Proven team leader experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be part of a team.
  • Barista Trained Desirable
  • Understanding of Stock Control, Company Accounts & Cash Control

As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £34600 per annum for 40hrs.
