Aramark UK is recruiting for a General Manager to join the team at Uppingham School.

This is a permanent and full time position which will be aligned to our Education & Healthcare arm of Aramark and be responsible for our wonderful client; Uppingham School. We can offer this role as a hybrid position, however, there will be times where you will be required to be on site full time to suit the needs of the business and the client.

A day in the life of a General Manager:

• Build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally and attend regular service level review meetings
• Recruit, train and lead your teams to success
• Oversee all aspects of the operation to deliver outstanding service levels
• Manage all hospitality for our events and functions
• Full P&L responsibility; manage all financials and achieve food and labour targets
• Oversee and ensure all cleaning and safety procedures are consistently delivered

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience operating as a General Manager within independent schools or high end catering
• Experience leading a team to success
• Financially astute and commercially aware
• First class customer service skills and a passion for delivering service excellence
• Can bring innovation to the team
