We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to work with our integral team at Woolwich Barracks, Repository Road, London, SE18 4BB

What you'll be doing

In addition to the above, Chefs may occasionally be required to undertake ad hoc back of house and front of house duties in line with business requirements.

  • Work with the Front of Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe cards.
  • Catering for soldiers in one of four kitchens for up to 200+ people
  • Work in line with company allergen policy
  • Full knowledge of all menu items served.
  • Management of production to ensure minimal wastage.
  • Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods
  • Maintenance of food quality and brand standards
  • Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents.
  • Assisting in the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists

Experience

  • Required: NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a Food Production role within catering or retail
  • Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • DBS required
