About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Manager to join our team at The Peak at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah for a fixed term contract of 6 months for maternity cover. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensure that stock levels are maintained and that purchase requests and the marketing list are completed on a weekly or monthly basis for professional and retail products.
  • Ensure that all customer records are correct, up to date and correctly administered, in particular to monitor prescription cards and to ensure they are completed and used by each therapist for every appointment. This is also to include regular updating on the Product Houses points program scheme on records of products sold.
  • To actively sell products and treatments to clients and encourage staff to up sell products to meet targets.
  • To supervise the employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Hotel and Department Operations Manuals.
  • To assist in providing monthly reports analysis and ensure products sales targets are achieved.
  • To complete the monthly in house commission report before the end of each month and the commission sales report for Product Houses for all therapists.
  • Collect and file all bills and invoices at the end of each month from all therapists.
  • Calculate the monthly Tips and hand to the Manager for signing at the end of each month.
  • To ensure staff are aware of basic first aid principles and able to practice if and when required.
  • To ensure the reception team is fully manned, trained and abreast of all club operations.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Essential - CIBTAC/CIDESCO
  • Essential - Proven track record in spa/beauty salon management
  • Desirable - Knowledge of Product houses; SKEYNDOR, PEVONIA & HYDRAFACIAL, previous hotel experience – preferably in a 5* hotel
  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Team player
  • Excellent level of customer care
