We're on the lookout for a talented 1st Line IT Support Analyst to join our Head Office team and play a crucial role in supporting our operations across our London and New York properties.

As a key member of our IT support team, you'll be the first point of contact for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our hotels and offices. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment while providing exceptional service to our staff and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first responder for IT-related issues, providing timely support to users via phone, email, and remote assistance.
  • Collaborate with the IT helpdesk team to address daily calls and email requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and update the IT ticketing management system, ensuring accurate records of all incidents and resolutions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve daily IT issues for the Group, including hardware and software problems.
  • Assist with out-of-hours support, ensuring continuous IT service availability.
  • Administer and maintain group email spam filtering manager to enhance network security.
  • Configure and set up new PCs for staff members, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT department procedures and processes.
  • Support the Group IT Project Manager and System Administrator with networking tasks and system maintenance.
  • Assist with the procurement of IT equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor and escalate group system alerts to the IT networks team for prompt resolution.
  • Compile daily activity reports for management, providing insights into IT operations and performance.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

What you Need:

  • Previous experience in IT helpdesk or support roles, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information in a user-friendly manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse operational team.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in networking and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Familiarity with IT practices and procedures, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Preferably educated to degree level or hold relevant IT certifications.
