Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for a Commercial Analytics Executive to join the Fearless team. 

Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 34 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. Job Description

Job Summary:

As the Commercial Analytic Executive, you will be working under the leadership of the Business Intelligence Lead to provide insightful analysis and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability. You will also work closely with other stakeholders within the business to identify opportunities and help shape strategic decisions.

Responsibilities :                              

Your responsibilities as the Commercial Analytics Executive will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible and assist in data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for visual representation of KPIs and business metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and create user-friendly visualizations.
  • Design visually compelling and easy-to-understand data visualizations to facilitate decision-making.
  • Debug, troubleshoot and crosscheck data to ensure data accuracy from time to time.
  • Assist stakeholders in creating reports that meet their specific needs and requirements.
  • Provide training and support to teams on how to interpret and use the data effectively.
  • Run data mining processes to uncover hidden patterns, correlations, and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements based on data analysis.
  • Exploring further advanced knowledge with technical skills with MySQL for data manipulation and Python to automate repetitive tasks. 

Any other lawful assignments as instructed by superior as and when required.


Qualifications

Candidate must have the following requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Data Analytics/ Business Analytics, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experienced in analysing commercial or business data,  
  • Organized, resourceful, hands-on, result-oriented, eye-on-detail and good time management.
  • Good critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy especially in SQL, Excel and Power BI.
  • With Retails Industry background is a plus.
